Is inner child work the same as therapy?
It overlaps with psychotherapy but is a distinct tradition rooted in Vedic psychology and somatic healing. For trauma or diagnosed mental health conditions, we recommend combining with professional therapy.
Do I have to remember specific childhood events?
No. We work with what arises — feelings, body sensations and current patterns. You do not need to excavate memories to heal.
Is the work emotionally overwhelming?
We always work within your nervous system's window of tolerance. Sessions are gentle and paced to your comfort. Most people feel lighter and more spacious after sessions — not overwhelmed.
How soon will I notice changes?
Many clients notice shifts in self-talk and emotional reactivity within the first 3–4 sessions. Deeper pattern changes — in relationships and self-worth — emerge over 3–6 months of consistent work.
Can I do this if I had a 'normal' childhood?
Yes. Most inner child wounds do not come from dramatic abuse — they come from ordinary experiences of feeling unseen, criticised, dismissed or not enough. You don't need trauma to benefit from this work.
Is this available online?
Yes, fully. The guided visualisation, somatic work and dialogue all translate beautifully online. Many clients prefer the safety of their own space for this deep work.
